Coronation Celebration

Toast the Royal event of a generation, with a Gourmet regal retreat at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa

We invite you to salute the coronation of His Majesty The King with a sumptuous two-night stay in collaboration with two iconic British brands – Penhaligon’s Perfumes and Gusbourne Wines.

Indulge in our unique afternoon tea, created to evoke the floral notes of Highgrove Bouquet, Penhaligon’s new Eau de Parfum. Highgrove Bouquet was created in partnership with The Prince’s Trust as a tribute to the fragrant summer gardens at Highgrove - the private residence of Their Majesties The King Charles III and The Queen Consort. You will have a bottle of this special parfum (100ml) in your room, to take home with you.

Enjoy this delicious Afternoon Tea accompanied by a chilled glass of our exclusive Highgrove Bouquet Summer Cocktail - developed by our team to reflect the crisp notes of the Eau de Parfum and featuring the refreshing fizz of Gusbourne sparkling English Wine.

Experience a 5-course tasting menu in our newly refurbished Montagu’s Mews restaurant and terrace, accompanied by a glass of Gusbourne’s Sparkling wine.

The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa sits in the middle of the iconic Royal Crescent in Bath. The landmark building gained its royal title at the end of the 18th century after Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany had stayed there. He initially rented number one and later bought number 16, one of the two houses on The Crescent that makes up the hotel today. Our Master Suite ‘The Duke of York’ overlooks The Crescent Lawn and is named after him.

Penhaligon's is a British perfume house. Founded in the late 1860s by William Henry Penhaligon, a Cornish barber who moved to London and who became Court Barber and Perfumer to Queen Victoria. The company still holds the Royal Warrant today. In Summer, Highgrove Gardens hum with a smell often described as earthly sunshine. The grass bows to weeping silver lime, mimosa, and cedar. An eau de parfum created in collaboration between Penhaligon's and Highgrove Gardens.

Gusbourne is a Boutique English winery in Kent. The most awarded English Sparkling producer with numerous international accolades, they were selected to supply the Platinum Jubilee English Sparkling Wine for the Royal Collection Trust.
